ABOUT ASTRAL STABLES
Hello and welcome to Astral Stables, where my beautiful Hyrulian Gypsies reside. Descriptions of the nature surrounding the stables and the stables themselves are provided below. Any inquiries can be directly private messaged to me. ★
Astral Stables is located on a private expanse of pristine white-sand beach on the coast of Oahu, the largest Hawaiian island. The turquoise water is crystal-clear, void of any pollutants or marring features. Light from the sun greets the surface of the crystalline water and creates patterns that reflect onto the sand in shallow water. A variety of trees, the most abundant being palm, sway by a gentle breeze. Tropical flowers arranged in a vibrant array of color spring from the ground. Birds of paradise and the occasional chicken can be seen hopping from tree to tree, bursting into song [with the exception of the chicken]. The weather in Oahu, more specifically, Waikiki, is quite constant throughout the year, with warm sun and occasional rainfall. A large arena sits adjacent to the stables, sometimes hosting public races or competitions. A separate training arena and obstacle courses for jumps and the like are included. During the night, when the sun is tucked away, Astral Stables is illuminated by the starry galaxy above. Moon rays shimmer down to the beach, dispersing across the surface of the water. Because of the cleanliness of air, light from the stars pierce through the night sky. Hence, the stars are what give Astral Stables its name. ★

The interior of the stables is grand to match the beauty of mother nature surrounding it - luxurious, to say the least. Wood, polished and sanded down to the finest detail, is the main material used in the stable. The floor is a clean, impeccable stone tile. Warm lights hang from every stall and are stretched across the ceiling. The sliding doors that close the stalls are sturdy and can be securely locked and bolted if need be. Stall sizes vary, as different sized stalls may be used for different purposes, but the horses stay in the largest, most comfy stalls. The residence stalls which the horses stay in are huge: 20x20 feet, to equate to 400 square feet total, for maximum movement. The floor is covered in a comfortable layer of bedding of the finest quality, which is changed every day. The ceiling is high, to allow for more breathing room for the horse. Each stall has a water trough which is refilled several times a day by grooms to ensure that the horses drink clean, healthy water. There is a running water system within the stables for less hassle. There is also a feed "container," for lack of a better word, that has a main compartment for feed, a compartment for mash, a compartment for vitamins if the horse needs any, and a compartment for treats [locked, of course!]. In the stable there is a spacious tack room which can hold many types and a great number of tack: saddles, molded and customized to fit each horse, are lined up on wooden storage bars. Bridles custom to its respective horse hang from a peg below the saddle. Other assorted storage in the tack room contain different pieces of necessary tack for the horses. In the stable there is also a feed storage and grooming room. The feed storage holds all types of feed, such as oats, fodder, hay, carrots, apples, leafy greens, sugar cubes, and much more. The horses are fed the highest quality food mix, each specialized to fit each respective horse's diet. Bottles of vitamins, neatly labeled, line one shelf. A rough sack of apples, fresh from the local market every morning, hangs on a peg, next to a sack of sugar cubes. Bowls, pestles / grinders, and mixing utensils line a different shelf. Horse nutrition here at Astral Stables is taken very seriously, so that the horses may remain in top shape. The grooming / storage room is where the horses are taken to be groomed every morning, after a ride, after an activity, or in the evening. Neat wooden shelves hold curry combs, hoof picks, mane and tail brushes, and more. Two ropes with hooks attached to the ends lie on the floor, designed to gently keep a horse in place while being groomed. Other facilities around the area which would take too long to explain include vet services, a small lesson arena, wash stalls, and foaling pen. Only the best is provided for the horses at Astral Stables. ★

I do hope that was adequate enough of an explanation to at least give you a feel of the stables as a whole. Some things to note are that I could not give pictures of everything, so ones without a picture will have to be imagined based on the description [if any at all] given. And last but not least, these pictures are not mine. All credit goes to their respective owners. Thank you for visiting Astral Stables! ★
